PositiveThe staff is great, and overall, my mom has received good care. Her apartment is the perfect size and meets her needs well. The staff members are kind, helpful, and genuinely seem to care about the residents. The biggest area of concern has been the food. Unfortunately, the meals have been disappointing, and my mom often does not eat the food that is served. Overall, I would still recommend the community and I am hopeful that the food situation will improve. I am not sure what steps are being taken to address the …

PositiveKingsland Walk is a thoughtfully planned community with every service and amenity one would need, and some. The curated meals and daily activities and entertainment keep residents active and engaged. I love that he can get trusted transportation to his appointments and the monthly outings get them out to places they once enjoyed or have always wanted to go to. The location is perfect. The only thing that could be better is the parking. I have peace of mind knowing my dad is well taken care of

CriticalWe've had a few challenges but worked through the issues. Mainly with medical care of my mom due to the pain issues with my mom's leg. The activities are great & mom enjoys participating; food is good and the staff is attentive. Overall we're still happy with our choice. I feel I have to more attentive with what's going on there with mom. I would love for the community to send out a monthly overview of how things are going with Memory Care Residents . . . would be helpful I think for all!

PositiveKingsland Walk Senior Living was great. We looked at the whole facility, but we were focused on the memory care floor. They have activities that include everyone, and the memory care people can move around. They can't leave the floor, but they still have access to the whole floor. The staff was very approachable. They had an answer for every question that we had, and they were friendly. It seemed very clean. We saw one memory care suite that I think was occupied. It was a very large studio room, minus a kitche…

PositiveThe facility is very clean. The staff provided great care for my dad. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and always greeted my dad and I with smiles and great conversations. The administrative staff was friendly when I went in to tour and sign lease paperwork, but became standoffish once my dad moved in. My dad did not like the food but overall, the facility is a great place to live.

PositiveI did get a good impression of Kingsland Walk Senior Living, but the other place seemed nicer and closer to where I live. University City is a little farther, and the parking was terrible. The main floor is just assisted living, and they had nice activities, and they were bringing people from memory care down to participate in assisted living activities. The woman who greeted me and took me on a tour spent a lot of time explaining things. She was lovely and showed me around. The room available had a carpet, and tha…
