All office staff are friendly and helpful. The caregivers that we have worked with are very friendly and caring. Dining room staff is very friendly and so is the cleaning staff. Overall it is a very pleasant place to live/visit. They hold monthly meetings with the administrator and residents to discuss anyone's concerns. Moved here three months ago. Great staff and employees. Excellent food. Very comfortable lifestyle ! Plenty of activities to keep busy including games, exercise , Bible studies, trips, grocery shopping , plus a special service: transportation to and from doctor appointments two days a week. Merrill Gardens at Rancho Cucamonga would be my number 2. It is super close to the other place; it is just that the locations are different. It is a little cheaper, too. They have all three levels of care. They have different wings of the floor for different stages. The apartments are really nice. They have granite countertops. For meals, there's a full menu they can select from as if they were in a restaurant to eat their meals and I think it's nice. My dad is in their assisted living since he gets extra care. We have been looking for an assisted living facility for my parents for quite some time. We looked at many places but knew we were at home when we walked into Merrill Gardens and were greeted by wonderful staff. We had to move my dad in earlier than my mom, and they provided the extra services he needed. The place is beautiful, and we love how they decorate for the holidays.
