My parents are in Morada Deer Park's independent living community. It's clean, and the staff is very nice and caring. They alert me if anything is going on with my parents, which I appreciate. They have been very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. They're in a very nice 1-bedroom apartment. They have a little kitchen in it, so they can choose to cook, but they go to the dining room for all three meals. There are activities all day long if they choose to do so. They have a movie room and a lib…

My dad passed away last summer and I have no reason to stay in touch with Morada and can't speak to anything current. I thought it was a great place if he would have joined in the activities, but he said the food wasn't fit for dogs

The apartment we had was very comfortable, the staff were delightful. The Chef was very hard to deal with, she was very rude. Hopefully she's no longer there. Other than her, the experience was a good one.

PositiveAll of the employees went above and beyond when I toured recently. I would have loved to have my Mom move in, but when my brother asked our mother about going to move in, she became emotional and did not want to leave her home. But the facilities were clean and all the residents looked happy and well cared for. Thanks to everyone for such a compassionate greeting to us.
