Apartments are great. They have been re-done. My mom's has two big windows. It is big and roomy with no walls. It's easy for her since she's in a wheelchair. The staff is great. Whenever I have been concerned about anything, they have taken care of it immediately. They don't have as many activities that I prefer for my mom but the care they give makes up for that. The food isn't as good as I would like for it to be, but hopefully a change is going to take place.

I've not regretted moving my mom to Morado. She gets better care than she has ever had. Her room is the best room she's ever had. It's not fancy like other places but it is homey and it's clean and it isn't pricey like other places!!! I have a camera in her room and every time I have called to tell them that she needs help , they go to immediately. I even called one time at 3:30 in the morning and they answered the phone and most places don't answer their phone after hours. It's been very good for my mom. The staff…

I chose Morada Waxahachie because I had looked at a place, and my daughter wanted me to stay in the other facility, but it was just more than I could afford. Morada gave me a really good deal. My mother is a current resident in Waxahachie. She supposed to get one med three times a day, but due to staffing cuts as of yesterday they're telling her we're sorry we didn't get to you but we're shortstaffed. This is not appropriate. I wonder if the people who made these cuts in corporate office had came into the facility And talk to the patients to see what they take is on the staff members that they were going to let go and cut hours for.
