Review for Parkview Senior Retirement

The staff is wonderful was plenty of games to do. Rooms are nice. Downside is there's no bus trips. You pay for your own electricity. Until next March they pay for TV, but after March last I heard you have to pay for your own TV and Internet . There's no dining room you cook your own meals. I should probably rephrase that there is a kitchen and a dining room but they don't don't use the kitchen and they don't serve meals. They use the dining room for games. The property is beautiful. Lots of nice rosebushes and bus…

My home

I have a nice one bedroom apartment ground floor not too far from the office. All the rooms here are being remodeled, new floors, new bathrooms, facilities, and new kitchen facilities. The only downside is that this is a campus. Buildings is not just one big build it’s individual buildings with, 12 or so rooms for each building. Also, [date removed], there will be no meals offered so you have to fix your own meals in your room or eat out once in a while. so I have to pay my own electric bill pay for the Internet p…

I visited this facility

Clients of mine chose Parkview because they like the feel of the one-level campus with walkways from the apartments to community buildings. The couple are gardeners and walkers, so they really appreciate the grounds at Parkview and the chance to get outside into the fresh air daily. They also like the proximity of Parkview to the Gateway Plaza for shopping. When I went over with my clients to visit Parkview, we were most favorably impressed. The staff facilitated a great tour and invited us to lunch. We met residen…

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My friend has chosen Parkview Christian Retirement Community because they have a salad bar every day, which is a big thing to her. It has good walking trails, too. She also chose this place because it is an easy ride to her son's place. They have a library and a lot of exercise classes. They have covered walkways. The staff is very nice and introduced themselves. Even some of the residents introduced themselves. The food is very good. The place is not as new and not as pretty as other places, but the people ar…

I am/was a resident of this facility

I really like being in Parkview Christian Retirement Community. They have really good ministry and other stuff going on, and they have Christian things going on every week. The food is really good, and the staff is also really good. Somebody even came up yesterday to help me with my computer on the same day I stopped by the office section to tell them I needed some help. I didn't have to wait a long time.

I visited this facility

We chose Parkview for my mom because it was small and it was the most affordable. The rooms were adequate. What was wonderful about them was the staff and such happy people that live there. We visited some classes. We had meals with them, and the people felt like they were at home. They were very welcoming. The community is #1, and that was what sealed the deal. The staff was very good and very helpful in showing us around. The food was fine. It was the happiness of the residents and the affordability that made us …
