CriticalNot what we expected
The caregivers varied, some were good and some were not so good. My dad didn't like the food and preferred to eat his own food. We chose this community for its location and they had availability. When you walk in it is a nice building, but the apartments are outdated. I would not recommend this community because we weren't really satisfied with the care. The staff turnover was horrible, and they weren't able provided transportation to appointments as promised

The Assisted Living has a very clean & warm environment. The administrator is very caring and attentive to the residents there. The atmosphere is homely. There are petty of activities to keep the resident occupied throughout the day. This isn't the same Rosewood as before, new administrator and caregivers and maintenance.

My grandmother just had to call me, to ask me to call the the front desk because she never got her dinner. Need I remind you see is a diabetic! This is unacceptable, and I will be taking this further up. Her nurse is a lady named [name removed], and she said she was the patient liason too. This is my grandmother's 2nd night there, and I'm beyond furious right now. My grandmother even told ine if the aids that she never received dinner over 1 hour ago, and she still isn't get her food. I can honestly say Rosewood Assisted Living, Killeen,TX is one of the best AL Facilities I’ve visited. From the very first time you enter, you’re greeted with warm welcomes, and offers of assistance. My Uncle became very ill and needed a place of comfort and peace. I must say 11 months in, he is cared for, comfortable, at peace, and have come to know the other residents as friends. CriticalI am not impressed with the appliances that are in the community!!
The food that was being served when I first moved in was not very good. I meet a gentleman from the company headquarters and he helped me with my television. I let him know about the food and since then the food has improved. The grounds are well maintained and the hallways and common areas are fantastic. Housekeeping does not clean my apartment as well as I like. Able to have pets there.
