Positive memory care experience

In memory care where my FIL was, he received excellent medical care. The nursing staff was attentive and called me with updates on his medical care and needs. And the staff cared about him as a person and worked to make him feel at home and comfortable. Laundry was a constant issue with losing things, but I know this is a problem in many facilities that do residents' laundry together.

My stepmom is a resident of Rowntree Gardens, and what I like most is the responsive and caring staff. It is a Christian community, and it has many activities. The people that are living there are very nice. It's a wonderful community. It has an atrium in the middle. There's a lot of outdoor beauty in the gardens and a lot of outdoor space to mingle. My mom is in Rowntree Gardens. It's beautiful, one of the nicest places in that area. They have a huge garden area. They have a library, a fitness room, a TV area, and a big, huge dining area. Rowntree Gardens is very big. They have a schedule of activities that you can go to. She has a list of things that she can go to. When she first started, she enjoyed the different activities. They have different areas, when she goes to see the doctor, they have a whole wing for PT, doctor visits, and things like that.

I toured with my mother and the rooms were nice and clean. It was a big facility with lots of room to walk on the grounds and also a lot of social activities. I also liked that there is a medical clinic which allows residents to have nearby care if needed. The location was a little further than desired, but the residents all seemed to be content here.
