Truly wonderful care

5 for all of them. Mom was only there for about a week before she passed away but the staff and facility were fantastic. The staff was very helpful, especially getting hospice care for Mom. I can't really address the food because my Mom wasn't really eating much. But they definitely offered things that she might like. The room was great, very roomy and bright. The staff were extremely disappointing, especially when it came to finding someone available to help. A loved one was frequently left wet, and there were ongoing concerns about cleanliness and the smell in the room. There were also repeated issues with belongings being mixed up between roommates, even when items were clearly labeled. Communication and attention to individual needs seemed inconsistent. A Standout In Strasburg

The size of the facility, along with the friendliness of the staff made it a stand out. The employees do seem to enjoy what they do. It's very much a family at The Maynard. I would recommend it to others. They do a lot of activities with the residents. That to me is their superpower.

Wonderful Care

The staff was absolutely fantastic. Very helpful and caring. Although my Mom was only there for a short while they helped with everything, including getting hospice care for her. I would definitely recommend the Maynard to anyone. And a heartfelt thank you to A Place for Mom and [name removed] who first recommended the Maynard.

Our family's experience

They come across as everything is great and they're gonna do so much for your loved one. Promised to a shower every day and ended up being once or twice a week. She sat and pee all day they did not assist her in the bathroom, her roommate was completely bedridden, and the room smelled like urine constantly. I was most impressed with the team approach of the staff. They were all committed to answering my questions, seeing that my tour was complete, and transparent in what they could offer and prices.
