The staff were extremely disappointing, especially when it came to finding someone available to help. A loved one was frequently left wet, and there were ongoing concerns about cleanliness and the smell in the room. A Standout In Strasburg

The size of the facility, along with the friendliness of the staff made it a stand out. The employees do seem to enjoy what they do. It's very much a family at The Maynard. I would recommend it to others. They do a lot of activities with the residents. That to me is their superpower.

Wonderful Care

The staff was absolutely fantastic. Very helpful and caring. Although my Mom was only there for a short while they helped with everything, including getting hospice care for her. I would definitely recommend the Maynard to anyone. And a heartfelt thank you to A Place for Mom and [name removed] who first recommended the Maynard.

Our family's experience

They come across as everything is great and they're gonna do so much for your loved one. Promised to a shower every day and ended up being once or twice a week. She sat and pee all day they did not assist her in the bathroom, her roommate was completely bedridden, and the room smelled like urine constantly. The staff, if you couldn't find them at the desk, they were outside smoking. I was most impressed with the team approach of the staff. They were all committed to answering my questions, seeing that my tour was complete, and transparent in what they could offer and prices.

Staff are extremely helpful. They do lots of events for the residents. The food is good. They arrange transportation to all appointments. Very accommodating with family visits. They allow pets.
