There were some staff issues when she moved in a little over a year ago but now they offer better staff experiences. Food is only offered for breakfast but 5. Activities are also great. She has 1 bedroom, 1 bath with in unit laundry and it is perfect size for her. I would absolutely recommend the community to others.

The Retreat Senior Living is a fabulous place! My parents moved in a year ago to a two bedroom apartment and on their tenth day my dad passed away. This place has been a saving grace for my mom. I am so happy she is there where she feels safe and secure. Number one, the ladies that work in the office are very attentive to residents needs and knows most, if not all by name. My mom has been a resident at The Retreat Grand Prairie now for seven months and I am still extremely pleased with my choice of placing my parents there. Although, my mom has not used much of the facility due to the quick passing of my father upon moving in, the staff and other residents have not given up on her. They come by frequently to check on her and invite her to different activities. She has enjoyed going to the salon. The Retreat Grand Prairie was the perfect place for my parents. The facility payed attention to small details that were important to them like having a pantry, built-ins in the closets, shower door, amount of cabinets in the kitchen, and emergency pull strings in the primary bedroom and bathroom.
