CriticalThis is a horrible facility. My mom had "mysteriously" fallen and had broke her facial bones and nose. She went from 130 pounds to 96 pounds by the time I took her away from there. They claimed she wasn't eating. True, she has dementia, and she didn't know that she had food under the stupid dome they use to cover the plates of food. I finally figured out the issue. They only cared about sitting around and being on their phones. I found a DIFFERENT place which is fantastic and she is back up to 1…

PositiveMy grandpa is a patient here and while he is not doing well physically, the care he is receiving is outstanding. I came in today from out of town and the staff that work here are really great! My grandpa says he likes living here and thats what matters to us most. That he is cared for and taken care of.

PositiveMy husband moved into Tower Hill Healthcare Center. The nurses and social workers are very caring and understanding. He has a sundowning in the afternoon and they know how to handle that. I'm very happy and pleased with him being there. They're always cleaning there. After the meal hours, they clean the dining room immediately. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms and showers are clean, and everything is fine. It's a brand-new unit that they just opened, and they're doing everything they're s…

CriticalI beg those that are interested in this home to stay away. Do not be swayed by their website and facade behind those pleasing photos. My mother in law was a resident. She was exposed to and died due to Covid ravaging her already sickened immune system and frail body. The place shut down to avoid another 94+ outbreak of Covid in 2020. We were not allowed to see our mother FOR MONTHS. When the holidays came in 2021, the facility opened and allowed Omicron to ravage again. I have nothing against the staff and hardwork…

CriticalSo this place is terrible. They only call you when they have an issue. My dad tested positive for Covid 19 today and I found out by calling them. They did not call me to inform he he positive and was being transferred to another room. They also like to play phone tag bouncing you to other depts. and no one picks up or calls you back. He been there 2 months and its more stress on him as well as the family because of extremely poor communication regarding his health. Look somewhere else if your loved one needs a skil…

PositiveWe decided on Tower Hill Healthcare Center in South Elgin for my father. It's a nursing home and he moved in last week. So far, they've been great. They update us on anything that they notice about my father. Because of COVID, I didn't get to meet any staff. They were kind of very strict right now, so they're not very open. The person I worked with to get him in there and with the financial part was good though. I didn't have to do anything, she pretty much did everything so she was excelle…
