West Lake Assisted Living has been a true blessing for our family. From the moment my mom moved in, she was treated with warmth, respect, and genuine care. The staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure she is comfortable, safe, and happy. It's clear that they truly care about the residents — it’s not just a job for them, it’s a calling. Kandra, the owner, is an exceptional person. She’s not only attentive to my mom’s needs, but she also goes out of her way to support me every month when it's time t…

My mom moved to West Lake three years ago. We appreciate the caring and dedicated staff. The owner, Kandra, will go out of her way to help. I can tell she really cares about the residents and their families. I was especially relieved that she understands how my mom thinks better than other caregivers have in the past. The rooms are clean and pretty. And the home is kept up and Kandra is always trying to improve things. I gave four stars because communication amongst the staff and management is sometimes lacking. Bu…

my brother picked this facility for mom and do believe they did not do their homework. Mom is in a shared room paying $2000/month. The lawn hadn't been cut since the last gardener passed away (a worker told me). All the times i have visited i have NEVER smelled home cooked meals. Having cereal for breakfast and a hot dog and chips for dinner is not nutritional. Out of the 7 clients in the home, only 2 are mobile and get around alone. There is a small patio area that i've only seen the workers use for thei…

I visited this facility

I went to West Lake Assisted Living. They told us to go to 1019 Westlake just a few houses down. They didn't even have a nurse on staff, they have home health coming in if somebody needs it. It was a three-bedroom house. I didn't like any of it. For example, when we drove up and I got out with my mom and was taking her up to the front door, there was a couple of ladies sitting on the small porch. And they got up and went into the house. Well, they left the chair right in the way of the walkway, along with…

I really enjoyed having my mother at westlake assisted living . She wasn’t thriving when she was admitted . The staff was prompt to do things that were needed in a timely manner . When I needed to ask a question or has a concern. The owner cared for our needs I would highly recommend westlake Asst living

My uncle has moved into West Lake Assisted Living. We chose this because it's a shared home. Each person typically has their own room, they have several common areas, and it's very well-kept. They have cards, puzzles, TV, and I know that they take them for walks as well. They don't typically have a menu, but they do have a balanced meal three times a day. The staff were all very nice and caring.
