My Dad has been living at WV for 5 full months now and we are satisfied with his care, food, activities, services, etc. They do have some great activities for their clients enrichment like "Talk With a Vet", the Classical Music Concerts once a quarter, and the end of month brunch on Sunday's. Holidays are well celebrated and there's usually good live music provided.

Experience was good the only thing was that the flooring to our rental was not cleaned or mopped before we moved in. The backyard area was also very dirty.

The carpeting was just cleaned within the last couple days after not being cleaned for over 4 years. My mother is independent, but has had to deal with lack of privacy, and staff coming in her room without notice at all hours of the night without good reason. The staff gets a 1 (old administrator) they just changed about 6-8 weeks ago. New admin much better. But too early to rate. Dining room has many issues. Not all properly trained servers. Food is many times cold when served. Many times people wait 45-60 minutes…

Westmont of Riverside is really a nice community. It's quiet. They keep the grounds well kept. As a matter of fact, they just did a renovation. They removed all the grass, and they put in a desert theme throughout the whole community. That's pretty good, and because of doing that, they lowered our cost of rent because they no longer needed to have gardeners here. It is really nice. I really enjoy my stay here. I'm in a duplex. Westmont of Riverside has memory care and assisted living, little houses or casitas outside around the main building, like a 55-plus. I checked out the assisted living and the memory care. It's very clean and very organized. The staff was great. I think she was filling in for somebody, but she works alongside them. We are very happy with our overall experience so far. My Dad has been there officially now for 1 week. The caregivers and staff are all very nice and attentive. The facility is clean, bright, and smells good. The food in the restaurant is ok, sorta hit and miss, but overall good. Communication is a little difficult and seems disjointed, but we eventually get our questions answered.
