Heritage Woods of Ottawa was a nice place. They had three meals a day and they had nursing, cleaning, and everything else, but it's $5000 a month and I only make $2060 a month. They say they'd have to get Medicare involved, but that would mean that I'd have to give up my car because that's considered an asset and then they give me $90 a month. Professional, caring community

The staff makes this place. They are kind and compassionate, professional and attentive. Meals are good, but love when they do special treats! Covid has made it challenging for activities, but I’m hoping things will kick up soon. I feel like my parents are in very good hands!

The tour at this community was nice but there was another community that stood out more for the value and just the type of environment that I was looking for for my loved one. They gave me all of the info I needed and I was able to see everything that I needed to see.

The community is very clean and the staff is very nice. The food is pretty good and they have activities available for the residence to participate in. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience

I am very impressed with the quality of professional, patient and gentle care my parents daily receive since they moved into Heritage Woods. This is especially impressive since they moved in during the COVID-19 pandemic. My parents adjusted well and enjoy the staff as well as the extra amenities such as laundry and meal service. Mom Loves This Place!

Mom loves all the staff and really enjoys her neighbors. She loves the independence she has. It is like it was when she was in independent living. If she wants to do something, she does but if she doesn't she doesn't. No one tries to coerce her. The staff is very encouraging and helpful. She likes her own space, and no one bothers her there. She goes out to the public spaces and works on puzzles, or bingo or whatever she likes. Yet, she can work a puzzle or do adult coloring in her own room. She plans to stay here …
