The tour we had of Asbury Gardens assisted living was wonderful. The marketing person is so helpful, so kind, and so patient. We only looked at the studio because that's all we can afford for my brother. He's going to be living on Social Security and Medicaid, if he's approved. The rooms were very clean, and they gave us ideas about how my brother could live there. Each person we talked to, like the entertainment committee, was very helpful and informative. Asbury Gardens is nice, but it was kind of far from me. You will get the whole apartment, and it will be nice. It was a little cleaner than the other ones that I saw. The place was big and the decor was very contemporary. I like the environment. The apartment had a little kitchen, but there was no stove. They only have cabinets, a little refrigerator, their own bed, and their own washroom (which I like). The person who gave me the tour was very professional and helpful. My mom has been at Asbury Gardens for almost 2 years. She recently transitioned into memory care due to her progression of her Dementia. I visit my mom several times a week, sometimes every day, which allowed me to have a unique experience of the day to day elder care here. Asbury has hired wonderful people. My uncle will be moving to Asbury Gardens, and we loved it. From what I witnessed when we toured the place and went again a second time to talk about other things, the staff seemed very involved with the residents there. They have a lot of activities, keeping everyone involved and occupied. It's a beautiful place. It has a very nice courtyard. The rooms were very spacious, and I loved the lighting. Lost my 90 year old mother's teeth upper plate

I was told that my mother's teeth were lost her upper plate and that she had been taking them out and sitting them on the table in the recreation room but that is not true I've never seen my mother mess with her mouth or teeth in the 3 years she has been in this place I believe they were taken either by residents or an employee memory Care is on lockdown you cannot get in or get out without someone opening the doors for you so her teeth had to be in the area of her room or one of the other residents rooms I am so d…
